Breach of these terms may result in immediate termination of your access without refund and may give rise to legal action for copyright infringement.
7. Certification and Accreditation
Upon successful completion of a programme, you will receive a digital certificate from the European Meditation Institute, accredited by CPD UK.
CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accreditation is an independently assessed quality standard for professional education. It is NOT a government-regulated qualification (such as those regulated by Ofqual in the UK) and is NOT equivalent to a university degree or vocational qualification.
We do not guarantee that your certification will be accepted by any specific employer, institution, or regulatory body. Recognition of CPD accreditation varies by industry, country, and organisation.
Your certificate includes a unique verification ID. The certificate does not expire and does not require renewal.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our programmes are educational in nature. They do not constitute medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, or financial advice.
- Meditation, yoga, and breathwork practices carry inherent risks. You participate at your own risk and should consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new physical or mental health practice, particularly if you have pre-existing conditions.
- We do not guarantee any specific financial outcome, career result, or income from completing our programmes. Testimonials and examples on our website represent individual results and are not guarantees of future performance.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the programme in question.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be legally excluded.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as an EU consumer.
